One Voice, Many Stories
inspiring the world through the power of children’s voices.
We started during the 2002 Olympics and have grown into a global choir with a mission to uplift and inspire. Through our music, we share hope—one song at a time.
Our Why
Why We Sing
Creating High-Quality, Inspirational Productions
While many organizations offer community-level experiences, we strive for more. Your support helps us produce professional-caliber content, giving kids the opportunity to reach and move global audiences with their music.
Amplifying Youth Voices Worldwide
Sharing our youth-created content takes time, energy, and resources. Donations help us promote their work on platforms that reach millions, ensuring their voices resonate far beyond the stage.
Opening Doors for Every Child
Through donations, we can keep costs low and provide financial assistance, ensuring that no child is turned away due to their family’s circumstances. Every voice matters, and we ensure that every child has the opportunity to be heard.
“I want a voice because I want to comfort and bring peace to people who are hurting.”
— Celine, age 8
Our Vision
We imagine a world where children lead with kindness, empathy, and purpose. One Voice Children believes that when kids are given the chance to speak from the heart, they help build stronger, more connected communities. The leaders of tomorrow are here, and their voices matter now.
Diversity & Inclusion
Inspiring the world starts with making space for every voice. We are committed to including children from all backgrounds, including those of diverse races, cultures, genders, religions, identities, and experiences. When everyone’s invited to the table, the message becomes more powerful.
Our Timeline
Our History
From a one-time Olympic performance to a global music movement, our journey at One Voice Children’s Choir has been one of growth, purpose, and unity—every note telling part of our story.
2001–2002 | Olympic Origins
Founded around the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, when composer Masa Fukuda gathered over 1,600 children to record the song “It Just Takes Love.” After the Olympics, 25 children asked to keep singing together—this group became the foundation of the choir.
2003–2005 | Early Growth & Global Recognition
Originally called Studio A Children’s Choir, our group experienced rapid growth and won the John Lennon International Music Award in 2003. In 2005, we officially became a nonprofit and adopted the name One Voice Children’s Choir.
2006–2013 | Building a Movement
Expanded performances across the U.S. and abroad, including festivals in Japan. Membership continued to grow, with kids from all over Utah participating in weekly rehearsals and music videos.
2014–2015 | Viral Fame & National Spotlight
Their Africanized cover of “Let It Go” with Alex Boyé went viral, racking up millions of views. That same year, they competed on America’s Got Talent Season 9 and reached the quarterfinals. In 2015, they celebrated their 10th anniversary as an official nonprofit.
2016–2020 | Online Expansion & Global Reach
Hit major YouTube milestones (Silver and Gold Play Buttons) and expanded their digital reach with high-quality music videos. Continued performing internationally and collaborating with artists like David Archuleta and Alex Boyé.
2021–Present | New Leadership & Continued Impact
Michelle Boothe became COO/Artistic Director in 2021. The choir has since released new albums, grown to over 4.6 million YouTube subscribers, and surpassed 1 billion total views—continuing to inspire audiences worldwide.
